Scope of Work

CCI provided millwright services for our heavy industrial client during a routine scheduled outage. The majority of the work performed took place in the Basic Oxygen Furnace (BOF) section of the plant.

Our team was awarded the Electrostatic Precipitator (ESP) conveyor repairs and upgrades. The scope of included removal and replacement of the drive motor, inspection, removal and replacement of bearings, removal and replacement of rollers and structural steel weld repairs. In order to safely rig the components to the top of the conveyor gallery, CCI utilized our company-owned RT-70 crane. With specialty equipment, tools and conveyor specialists, we offered our client a turnkey solution and responsive services.  

In addition, our team was selected as the subject matter experts to provide a comprehensive analysis and repair recommendations for the next upcoming outage. Our conveyor specialists proposed specific long-term repairs and upgrades that would optimize the overall efficiency and life span of the conveyor system. Based on our recommendations, CCI will perform the upgrades during the next available scheduled outage.
