Heavy Lifting & Rigging Services

Examples of Power Generation Solutions
Our team at CCI was instrumental in erecting a new cogeneration power plant at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Battle Creek, Michigan. We coordinated, offloaded, and installed all the necessary structural steel and equipment to launch a new biomass generating station. This complex project required multiple critical lifts, including a 200,000 lbs. boiler installed with a 400-ton gantry. The result was a fully operational power generation plant that uses wood chips as a renewable fuel and reduced fuel emissions by approximately 14,000 tons per year.
