CCI is proud to be involved with several community organizations throughout Michigan. We proudly participate in developing and sustaining local communities by volunteering time and leadership to support local nonprofit organizations. Our team and community partners are committed to improving the community and building a strong network of resources.
As a commitment to making our communities a better place, CCI supports meaningful contributions that deliver basic needs such as food, education, health & wellness as well as environmental and cultural programs. Whether we are hosting food or toy drives or volunteering our time to help families, our team is proud to make long-lasting impacts within the community.
As an active sponsor, CCI participates in the annual Big Dig event for the American Cancer Society to help support the fight against pediatric cancer. Each year, the Big Dig event is hosted at the Operating Engineers Local 324 Training Center in Howell, Michigan and the Children’s Hospital of Michigan in Detroit, Michigan. More than 50 pieces of equipment are on hand, allowing the children to get a hand-on experience operating heavy machinery.
The Gleaners Victory Garden is located in Livingston County and delivers food directly to local food pantries. Each year, CCI participates in forming beds, composting, seeding, mulching, weeding, and harvesting the garden. Working together, we are making a greater impact towards solving hunger.
CCI has proudly been apart of the Make A Wish team of volunteers for over a decade. As official volunteers, our executive leadership participates in wish granting efforts, the annual Walk For Wishes at the Detroit Zoo and the annual Wish Ball in Metro-Detroit.
CCI is an active executive board member with the Chamber. Throughout the year, board members participate in creating strategic initiatives, expanding the chambers awareness, and supporting the overall business diversity mission for their members.
Each year, CCI actively contributes time and leadership to support various community initiatives throughout Livingston County. Such events include special event volunteering, family sponsorships and cleanup projects.
