Scope of Work

CCI was engaged by our industrial client to provide self-perform construction services for a new above ground Oil Water Separator System. Two independent systems were installed at the North end and South end of the plant. The filter systems are engineered to capture dissolved contaminants while continuously discharging clean effluent water. The self-cleaning, continuous operation creates a clean water resource that can be reused within the plant operations, reducing water consumption while protecting equipment and the environment.

Scope of work included excavation, installation of auger cast-in-place (ACIP) piles, placement of foundations and installation of process equipment. Due to underground utilities in proximity, hydro-excavation was performed in order to safely accomplish the excavation. To optimize the installation schedule, the Oil Water Separators were shipped in modular sections. Our field crews installed the platforms, stairs, grating, guardrails, coalescer, outlet baffles, lids and heaters. 

With our proven performance within the industrial water/wastewater industry, CCI offered our client the confidence and self-perform expertise to safely execute this project. In addition, our client received a high-performance separator with the lowest practical maintenance frequency. Allowing our client to focus their resources on other critical areas of the plant.
