Scope of Work

The Monroe Power Plant FGD group decommissioned the existing maintenance warehouse, requiring a new warehouse for daily operations. DTE contracted our team to provide design-build services for the new warehouse. Our previous work history providing engineering, procurement and construction services for various process systems leveraged our ability to secure the contract

Serving as the turnkey general contractor, our team provided the engineering, steel & material procurement and site construction including all mechanical, electrical and piping (MEP) trades. Throughout the planning and construction, several challenges were presented and resolved such as underground utility interferences and supply chain schedules. As an onsite maintenance contractor, our resources and relationships allowed us to quickly propose solutions and maintain the schedule.

As a pre-engineered metal building system (PEMB), our team offered DTE a flexible building solution with a reduced construction timeline. The combination of low startup costs, energy efficiency, environmentally friendly materials and minimal long-term maintenance provided DTE an affordable building choice. Overall, the team successfully delivered on schedule despite the project challenges.
