Scope of Work

Our customer, a Michigan based provider of automated and robotic welding systems required an installation contractor to support plant operations. Through a collaborative relationship, CCI developed a partnership to provide teardown, reinstallation and new installation services for multiple program run-offs.

Serving as the millwright and rigging contractor, our team self-performed the new installations and relocations of several process systems. The tooling programs are part of a major electric vehicle (EV) launch for one of the Michigan-based OEMs. Tooling for the program included a free-standing power & free conveyor system, trim 1-3 conveyor & tooling and trim 1-2 tooling modules. Our ability to supply equipment and experienced leadership allowed our team to control the project delivery, quality and safety.

As a strategic partner, our team was engaged in the project planning and overall schedule development. This allowed our client to focus on their core responsibilities. By partnering with our team on the front end, the project team was able to provide value engineering through pre-planning project controls which helped reduce the overall schedule. With a successful work history and a customer-driven approach, CCI has maintained a long-term relationship securing other projects throughout the facilities.
