Scope of Work
The City of Trenton, Michigan invested in a solar energy transformation initiative as part of a broader city-wide renewable energy plan. Utility-scale solar panels were installed at the Wastewater Treatment Plant, the Westfield Center, the Veterans Library and the Kennedy Recreation Center. The solar arrays are designed to generate substantial long-term savings by significantly reducing the heavy energy required to run municipal facilities by approximately 33%.
CCI Industrial Constructors was contracted by Ferndale Electric as a trade partner to perform the civil & concrete scope of work. Performed in multiple phases, the major scope of work included excavation and backfill for main power, demolition of asphalt & concrete pavement, placement of new asphalt & concrete pavement, placement of new equipment foundations, installation and fusing of HDPE conduit, directional boring of PVC conduit and final restoration.
