Scope of Work
DTE selected our team to complete site improvements at their Detroit Caniff Service Center. Due to increased capacity of operations, additional parking spaces were needed. The existing parking lot was expanded by approximately 20,000 square feet, which now accommodates 36 new parking spaces.
The scope of work encompassed two main scope packages including – underground utilities & sitework. The underground infrastructure included excavation for new underground electrical, excavation & placement of a new stormwater treatment structure, detention, catch basin and outlet control structure, tie-in to existing 15” storm sewer, installation of conduit & wiring for new site lighting & cameras and installation of power for a new guard shack. The civil & sitework included demolition of existing underground obstructions, removal of trees and grubs, site balancing & preparation, placement of asphalt paving, and landscape restoration.
