PROJECTS

Scope of Work

CCI Industrial Constructors was selected as the steel erector to construct a new state-of-the-art net-zero fire station for the city of Ann Arbor. The new station will accommodate fire and emergency response vehicles, equipment, and services for the next 50 years.

The project replaced the existing fire station built in 1966, which was demolished to make room for the new station. The new building features apparatus bays for vehicles, residential areas, sleeping quarters, a small gymnasium, a full kitchen and spaces for administration and storage. In additional, Ann Arbor Station 4 will be the first net-zero Fire Station in Michigan, and the city’s first carbon-neutral facility. The net-zero station will align with the city’s A2Zero sustainability goals, featuring an energy-efficient design and producing its own energy through solar panels and geothermal heating & cooling.

CCI’s field leadership and crews demonstrated our team’s ability to deliver on high-profile builds with precision and innovation. Thanks to our dedicated team, the project was completed without any delays or incidents.
