Scope of Work
The Lansing Board of Water & Light selected our team to provide a new stair tower at the Delta Energy Park. The purpose of the stair tower is to provide access between the ground floor and each of the three elevated walkway platforms between the facility’s central elevator shaft and demineralized water tank.
Our self-perform civil team lead the project on the front-end, placing all foundations & anchor bolts. In addition, our structural team managed the fabrication & procurement, field assembly and final tie-in to the existing walkway platforms. Critical to the project success was working safely around active equipment. Our industrial teams have decades of experience working on some of the most complex power & energy projects in the state. Through effective planning, leadership and execution, facilities are able to count on CCI for critical industrial installations.
Overall, the project was completed on schedule with zero safety incidents. With a strong reputation completing complex structural reinforcement, rehabilitation & upgrades across various power plants, our team was able to demonstrate our experience and execute the project deliverables according to plan.
