PROJECTS

Scope of Work

The Fly Ash Basin includes a 331-acre Fly Ash Basin and a 79-acre Vertical Extension Landfill. The basin serves as a coal ash surface impoundment for sluiced ash. CCI was contracted to serve as the civil contractor for the new site laydown development to support future projects.

The scope of work included the civil and utility infrastructure packages for the site. The civil package included tree and grub removal, land balancing, installation of access roads, laydown areas, a new parking lot, and installation of perimeter fencing. The utility scope included excavation and backfill for site power & water, installation of security cameras, site lighting, storm water utilities and potable water lines.

CCI has a long-standing relationship with our client, completing challenging and rewarding projects together for over 25 years. As a result, our client single-sourced our team as a preferred contractor based on our reliability and commitment to our approach of delivering higher standards of quality and safety performance.

Our experience working on critical infrastructure projects offered our client solutions during the pre-construction planning and execution of work. In addition, our client received the assurance that the project would be completed as scheduled without compromising safety or quality standards.
