CCI Industrial Constructors Completes New Dynamometer Installations For Battery Electric Vehicles

Brighton, MI (March 8, 2024) – CCI Industrial Constructors, a Brighton-based self-performing industrial general contractor, announced today that the company has completed the installation of two new dynamometers in Dearborn, Michigan and Milford, Michigan.

CCI Industrial Constructors provided millwright and rigging services for two High Torque Battery Electric Vehicle Test Room Programs at the Ford Advanced Engineering Center (AEC) in Dearborn, Michigan and the General Motors Milford Proving Grounds in Milford, Michigan. This project allows for our customer to test and measure torque, rotational speed, noise, vibration and durability for powertrains and frontend accessory devices.

The scope of work included the installation of sub-framing isolation assemblies, bedplates, dynamometer, conditioning systems, cooling blower, switch gears/drive cabinets and transformer. CCI leverages years of experience installing various types of dynamometer equipment in the automotive R&D and testing divisions.
