CCI Industrial Constructors Sponsors Ironworkers Local 25 High School Welding Invitational
BRIGHTON, MI (November 24, 2025) – CCI Industrial Constructors, a Brighton-based self-performing industrial general contractor, announced today that they provided sponsorship for the annual Ironworkers Local 25 High School Welding Invitational.
Led by the Ironworkers Local 25, the event brought in nearly 400 high school students and 19 welding programs to the training center. As the top high school welding competition in the state, the event provided an opportunity for students to showcase their welding skills and learn more about career opportunities within the union ironworking industry. With a time limit of 60 minutes to complete, the students were evaluated on four different welding positions – flat, horizontal, overhead & vertical. Each student was scored individually and the finalist were presented prizes during an awards ceremony. We would like to recognize all of the students for stepping outside of their comfort zone and coming together for a week of friendly competition.
We’re proud to support events that help shape and mentor the next generation of construction leaders. As we continue to move into 2026, it’s important we continue to lead by example helping support workforce development programs across the state.
